The secret is in the extremely fine thread. We had a specialist cashmere spinning factory spin the finest black merino wool into a delicate thread.

Care instructions

Many people think that wool is difficult to care for. Of course, you should treat it with care, but daily maintenance is easy. On the day you wear it, lightly brush off the dust with a special brush. Then, spread it out on a flat hanger and let it dry for about a day to remove sweat and other moisture. After that, fold it and store it in your closet. If you are concerned about stains in certain areas, apply a mild detergent to just those areas and press wash to remove the stains.

Because it is soft, pilling is inevitable. When you notice it bothering you, don't pull it, but cut it off from the base with scissors. (If you pull it, it will just get more pilling.)

Have your clothes dry-cleaned at least once a season. After cleaning, be sure to store them with mothballs.

Production Story

For the past three years, we have been using raw wool from black merino sheep raised in Victoria, Australia. However, we are no longer able to obtain this raw wool. The sheep are few in number, and the person who collected only the precious colored raw wool has grown older and stopped doing so. However, we were determined to continue using this "undyed wool," so we continued our search, and eventually found raw wool from black merino sheep raised in Tasmania, another state in Australia!

Although they are both the same "Black Merino" variety, it is surprising that the color and softness of the yarn differs, perhaps due to differences in where they were raised and the quality of the grass they eat. However, all the raw materials used in clothing are living things (including plants). So it is natural that they are different from year to year, and if you think about it, it is also natural that the wool quality differs depending on the sheep.

The atmosphere may be different every year, but we hope you will enjoy the changes and say, "This is this year's color and texture!"
