When wearing this cardigan, kids often press their faces against it. It’s so smooth that it never feels scratchy at all—I totally get why they do it.

The secret is in the ultra-fine yarn. We had high-quality merino wool raw fibers spun into delicate yarn at a cashmere-specialized spinning factory.

Thanks to Japan’s advanced spinning technology, we’ve crafted a soft, fluffy product.

A sleek silhouette that doesn’t bulk up

Because the yarn is so fine, it stays warm without adding thickness, resulting in a soft knit. This gives it a sleek silhouette, and even when layered under a coat, it won’t look bulky or feel stiff.

We’re releasing the white color that many of you requested.

We’ve previously released cardigans in gray and brown, but this is our first time making a white cardigan.

This is shown on a 160cm-tall woman, and the hemline rests just above her hips.

The sleeves and hem are ribbed, but since the material is soft, they don’t feel tight or restrictive.

Also pairs well with turtlenecks in layered looks.

When layered with the turtleneck sweater we released the same year, warmth increases significantly. Since they’re made from the same yarn, layering is a great pick for people who get cold easily.

Care Instructions

Many people think wool is hard to care for, and while we want you to treat this piece gently, daily maintenance is very simple.

On days you wear it, gently brush off dust with a wool-specific brush. Then lay it flat on a drying hanger and let air out moisture like sweat for about a day.

After that, fold it and store it in your closet. If you notice a spot, apply mild detergent only to the area and gently press-wash to remove the stain.

Being soft, it’s natural for small pills to form. If you notice them, never pull them—always cut them off at the root with scissors. (Pulling will only make more pills form.)

Use dry cleaning at least once per season. After cleaning, don’t forget to add a pest repellent when storing it.
