My own mystical art piece
We will create a string art mandala using raw silk provided by silkworms.

We will use the thread created by participants through the "Learning about Clothing starting from Silkworms" course held in May and June 2026. (Priority will be given to those who participated in the continuous course, but others are also welcome to join. Click here for information on the continuous course.)

Let's share the learning and the profoundness of craftsmanship: the process of how silkworms' lives become thread, and then creating art with that thread.

The instructor is Keiko Tozaki, a contemporary artist active in Gifu. She creates works using various natural materials. Let's learn from her sensibilities and unleash our own inner creativity.
