[Skirt] Wool (black merino)/brown

A skirt that keeps you warm all the way down to your feet

I created a skirt designed with straight cutting to avoid wasting fabric.
The knee-length skirt covers your feet, keeping you warm both at home and out during the cold winter months.
The skirt belt has a cute pompom made with careful attention to detail using felt. From the pompom to the tassel, each piece has been carefully handcrafted by an artist in Hamamatsu. Enjoy it as an accent to your outfit.

The finest cashmere-like merino wool

This is an original fabric developed by Ishitoshiro Clothing Store using rare "Black Merino" wool, which is only produced in the state of Victoria, Australia, and only a few tons are produced per year.
Its hair is thin, soft and fluffy. The yarn is as soft and delicate as cashmere, so it is recommended for those who don't like wool. It is gentle on the skin and does not irritate the skin, even for those with sensitive skin. This is an essential item for cold winter days.

Natural color without dyeing

This brown is the natural color of sheep's wool. We have made sure not to dye the wool so that you can enjoy the beautiful color of the wool as it is, without compromising the soft texture of the sheep. Because it is a natural color, it blends well with the skin and has a gentle feel.

■ Production Story

Warm bottoms are essential in the cold Itoshiro area. That's why we developed this black merino. We're particular about natural colors, not chemicals, and we've been testing vegetable dyes and other methods to see if we can achieve that with wool. But we discovered that there are already colored sheep out there!

No dyeing is required, so I immediately went to various weavers to find the most eco-friendly way to make the fabric. The knitter is one of the leading knitters in Japan, handling high quality wool . A long-established weaver in Osaka , they have highly skilled techniques and produce high-quality materials that are on par with cashmere.

This colored sheep fabric was made possible because we have a small number of sheep and we are a small brand, so we can only produce small lots.
