"Tatsuke" are trousers that have been worn in the Itoshiro area. They were worn while working, so they are loose around the hips for ease of movement, and slim towards the hem for easy movement of the legs.

About "Tatsuke"

Firm and thick canvas

The fabric is made of organic cotton. It is stiff at first, but the more you wear it, the softer it becomes. It is thick and recommended for those who want to move around a lot. It can be used in any season.

For both casual and elegant looks

The off-white color is elegant, so it is recommended for casual wear, as well as for work and going out. It goes well with a light-colored plant-dyed shirt.

■ Production Story

We are always looking for fabrics that we are satisfied with. We came across Panoco Trading while searching for organic, environmentally friendly, and comfortable fabrics.

It is a company that makes original organic cotton fabrics in Japan, and in fact, it all started when an employee from that company participated in the "tatsuke workshop" that we hold in our store. (It's interesting that you never know where you'll meet someone.)

Panoco Trading is a very trustworthy company that has a high level of traceability, allowing us to trace the thread before it is made into cloth, the cotton before that, and even the location of the fields. I was able to find a strong and expressive canvas fabric that was perfect for pants, as well as the background.
