An elegant maxi-length dress made of soft satin that gently hugs the body.

The Echizen shirt, originally a work uniform for men, has been adapted into a stylish dress. Aiming to create an elegant piece that can be worn on special occasions, we have paid particular attention to the material, length, and color.

Soft and silky to the touch

The best part is the carefully selected satin fabric. Every customer who tries it on is impressed and says, "It feels so good!"

While retaining the soft texture of organic cotton, it is tightly woven to give it a refined luster and an elegant feel.

Generous width and comfortable fit

The width of the garment is generous, so it is comfortable to wear and does not feel cramped at all. It is a piece that can be worn without hesitation even by those with thick shoulders, chest, or hips.

In addition, the shoulder position is not fixed and there are small triangular gussets at the sides, allowing the arms to move freely and easily.

The silhouette is also stylish with the hem falling straight down, so it doesn't flare out and can be worn in a mature style.

Can be worn as a dress or as a cover-up

It can be worn as a one-piece dress, so it is easy to style when going out or going to work. Use the attached waist belt to tighten it at your desired position for a more formal look.

It also comes in handy as a jacket. It's perfect for early spring and autumn/winter when it gets a little chilly.

Gentle colors of plant dyes

The colors available are indigo, marigold khaki, loquat pink, and marigold yellow.

The indigo blue is dyed repeatedly to achieve a deep color. The khaki is a chic color created by combining marigold flowers with iron. The pink is extracted from loquat leaves. The yellow is a different color created from anemone and marigold.

The soft and gentle pink of loquat

Loquat leaves are used for dyeing. The gentle and soft impression brings out a feminine charm. The fact that wearing it makes the body happy may be due to the fact that loquat leaves were used as medicinal herbs.

User's voice: Yuka Matsuo (153cm)

"It's been a year since I started wearing this kimono. The feel of the fabric is so pleasant that I wear it often. It's the kind of piece that makes you feel like you're being wrapped up in it, and you can't help but pick it up. It stands out as a dress on its own, so there's no problem with coordinating it. I like to wear it with white socks and black pumps. It's been a year, but the color I dyed it last year was a little pale, so I dyed it again. The color has become deeper, and I like it."

About maintenance and repairs

We want you to enjoy your products for a long time, so we will tell you about the things you should pay attention to when caring for them and our repair services.

■How to care for the product

  • Turn the garment inside out and place it in a large laundry bag.
  • Leave enough space in the washing machine and wash on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent, or if the item is not too dirty, just water will suffice.
  • After washing, carefully spread it out and dry it in the shade inside out.
  • Indigo dyes and plant dyes are sensitive to light, so when storing them, store them in a dark closet or drawer to prevent the colors from fading.
  • It's a good idea to use insect repellent when switching between seasons.

■ Alterations

  • If the color has faded, we will re-dye it. We can also dye it with indigo instead of plant dye. Please contact us for more information.
  • We also provide patches and mend frayed edges, so please feel free to contact us.

The soft and gentle pink of loquat

Pruning loquat leaves allows them to produce large fruit. The pruned leaves are stored for dyeing. I am amazed every time I dye with them, thinking that such lovely colors lie deep within the green leaves! The gentle and soft impression brings out even more femininity. The fact that wearing loquat leaves makes me feel happy may be due to the fact that they were used as medicinal herbs.

The gentle yellow of the dandelion heralds the arrival of spring.

These flowers are the first to bloom in the wide grasslands in spring. They are like a symbol of the joy of the new season. They are dyed with dandelions harvested from the woods of Itoshiro. This is the softest yellow we have ever dyed. The gentle feeling you get when wearing this may be due to the dandelions growing in the sunlight of spring.

The beautiful yellow of marigolds

Marigolds are grown in the fields and the flowers are piled up for dyeing. Marigolds produce a beautiful color that can truly be described as "gold." It's a beauty that makes you stand tall, but we've toned it down a little more than usual to create a soft color that can be worn in everyday life. Marigolds have also been used as medicinal herbs, and they have a wonderful scent, which makes us feel happy as we dye them.
