R's Graduation

Mr. R has been taking care of me ever since I moved to Itoshiro.
She was like a second mother to me and I relied on her a lot.

She also taught me how to make pickles. She also gave me a lot of produce from the fields and helped me grow up...lol She also looked after my small children and encouraged me when I was confused about raising children for the first time.

And above all, she has been supporting us since we first started Ishiteshiro Clothing Store in 2012, and she was the first person to start sewing our tatami mats as a seamstress.

Until then, I had been struggling to make more than a few kimonos in a day, sitting in front of the sewing machine while carrying my eldest son on my back, but my skills have improved and now I can sew beautiful kimonos.

Thanks to her, I was able to cover the production volume that I would not have been able to keep up with on my own, and she was an indispensable presence in creating the prototype for the current Itoshiro Clothing Store.

After that, he continued to listen to many of my unreasonable requests and even tried his hand at grading the items and adjusting the sizes, and the foundation of Ishiteshiro Clothing Store was established.

This year, Ms. R will be retiring from her sewing job.

I have relied on her so much until now, so I am very sad, but the young seamstress that R has trained has improved her skills and is now taking over her previous work.

The small shop that was started by one person has grown with R's help, and since then it has grown into what it is today with the help of many other people. Thankfully, I am able to do more and more things that I couldn't do on my own, and I feel very happy that my goals are coming true one by one.

All of this is thanks to Mr. R, who worked alongside us at the startup!
Thank you very much.
