[Village Walk] 13:30-15:00

In addition to letting you see the Itoshiro Clothing Store, we will also guide you through the Itoshiro village so that you can enjoy it.

6/16 Shrine・Uezaisho

We will take a stroll around Kamizaisho, located in the northernmost part of Itoshiro.

We will also explain about the shrines and old villages. Enjoy the leisurely flow of time while feeling the history.

8/18 Daishido Hall

You can view the Kokuzo Bosatsu statue, which was donated from Hiraizumi in Oshu.

We will visit Daishido Hall, which is still looked after by the descendants of people who came to this area during the Heian period.

9/15 Antique Museum: Old Clothes

We will visit the Itoshiro Antique Museum, where old tools from Itoshiro are on display, including the excavated Itoshiro "Tatsuke".

We will also explain the old hemp materials and fabrics used in the past.

[Gallery Talk] 13:30-15:00

The theme of this year's gallery exhibition is "Shibusawa Folklore."

The content will be about the philosophy of clothing making that can be learned from the folkloristic approach shared by Keizo Shibusawa, Tsuneichi Miyamoto, and Juichi Shibusawa. The store owner will give a talk on the subject.

The annual festival will be held at Hakusan Nakai Shrine from 10:00 am on each day. If you have time, please visit the shrine as well.

• The admission fee is 1,000 yen per adult. Children under 18 are free.
