Summer attire can often become too casual when prioritizing coolness, or too restrictive when aiming for neatness. Our goal was to create "summer clothes for adults" that compromise on neither.

This three-panel sleeve shirt is designed based on the structure of traditional Japanese clothing. Because there is no concept of armholes, there is absolutely no constriction around the shoulders.

Furthermore, the slit collar reveals a beauty born from a design that minimizes fabric waste, created through a continuous pursuit of functionality, efficiency, and beauty.

The "straight-cut" pattern, where all parts are cut from square fabric without straining the material, gently envelops the body's lines that change with age, creating beautiful drapes that embrace the wind and a dignified silhouette.

Generally, it has been considered extremely difficult to create a stylish shirt using only straight cuts.
However, by thoroughly analyzing the old work clothes (the beauty of utility) worn by grandmothers in Itoshiro, we arrived at this new design.

Cutting only what is needed, leaving no scraps. This design reduces the fabric consumption of the three-panel sleeve shirt to 1.6m (a 20% reduction) compared to a typical open-collar shirt (2m).
Furthermore, we succeeded in reducing the fabric waste during cutting by 30% compared to conventional shirts.
This is an intelligent garment where even environmental considerations are an integral part of the design.

The fabric is made from 100% top-quality linen, woven carefully in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, using raw materials from France.

Precisely because of the extremely minimal seams of the straight cut, you can enjoy the smooth texture inherent in Japanese linen to its fullest.
The color is "natural" (unbleached).

First, please enjoy its natural color as it is.
Then, after one or two years, or when you want a change, you can "color change" (re-dye) it with indigo or botanical dyes.

This is a lifelong shirt that you can grow with, turning it into your own vintage piece, rather than just "consuming and discarding."
