It’s a gentle fabric, so even those who don’t like wool can wear it. We especially want this dress to be for those who previously thought they didn’t like wool.

Natural color sheep

This brown is the natural color of wool. It’s a fabric developed using rare, low-population 'Black Merino' wool from around the world. Since it’s a natural hue, it has a gentle vibe that pairs easily with anything.

2-color collection

This time, this dress comes in two colors: brown and gray. The brown has a warm, cozy feel, and the gray is bright. Please choose your favorite color.

Hand embroidery on the chest is a key accent

The dress has a simple design, but features hand embroidery on the chest. We craft each piece carefully and with attention to detail.

■ Production Story

Warm clothing is essential in the cold Ishitobira area. In that context, we developed this Black Merino. We focus on natural colors, not chemical dyes, so we’ve been experimenting with things like plant-based dyeing to achieve this with wool. But we learned that there are already colored sheep in the world!

The most eco-friendly way is to not dye at all, so we quickly approached several weaving mills and found...a knitter working with some of the highest-quality wool in Japanfrom a long-standing weaving mill in Osakawho has high technical skill and creates high-quality materials on par with cashmere.

Since there are only a small number of these sheep, and because we’re a small brand with small production lots, we were able to create this colored sheep fabric.
