Naturally Colored Sheep Wool

This brown is the natural color of raw wool. We developed this fabric using wool from rare, low-population Black Merino sheep. Its natural tone makes it a versatile, warm piece that pairs effortlessly with any outfit.

■ Production Story

In the cold Ishiguroshi region, warm clothing is an absolute necessity. That’s why we developed this Black Merino wool fabric. We, who are committed to natural, non-chemical colors, have tested various methods like plant-dyeing wool to achieve that look. But then we discovered that there are already naturally colored sheep in the world!

We didn’t need to dye it at all—this was the most eco-friendly option. We quickly reached out to multiple textile mills, and found one of Japan’s top suppliers of premium quality wool: a long-established mill in Osaka. They have advanced technical expertise and produce a cashmere-level high-quality fabric for us.

This naturally colored sheep wool fabric is only possible because of our small brand’s small production runs, paired with the low population of these special sheep.
