Making Clothes as Part of Daily Life | Echizen Blouse Online Course (B. 3-day weekday intensive course/Tuesdays)
Making clothes begins with working with your hands in your daily life.
In this online course, we will thoroughly guide you from taking measurements and marking dimensions to sewing.

You can choose one of the following courses to suit your lifestyle.
【A. Saturday 2-day intensive course】 (Please see this on a separate page)
【B. Weekday daytime 3-week relaxed pace course】
Learn the wisdom and handcrafts of Itoshiro in your daily life,
and for those who wish, attend an Itoshiro schooling session.
This course has a two-tiered structure: it primarily focuses on a "self-contained online course" for those who cannot attend real-life classes, and for those who wish, it offers "Itoshiro Schooling," a time to learn about the roots of the "Echizen Blouse" in Itoshiro and deepen connections.
【3-week relaxed pace course on Tuesdays】
― From measurements to completion, all done at home ―
Over three Tuesdays (6/23, 30, 7/7), you will complete one Echizen Blouse.
This online course is for those who want to take their time and work at a relaxed pace during weekday mornings.
The "Echizen Blouse" was created by redesigning the "Echizen Shirt," a work uniform passed down in Itoshiro.
We will teach you everything from taking measurements, marking dimensions, cutting, and sewing in two days.

Even through the screen, we will carefully explain "why it's made that way" and "points where mistakes are easily made."
The Echizen Blouse is made by piecing fabrics together like a patchwork. It turns out wonderfully even with sheer fabrics.

This is also recommended for those who live far from Itoshiro,
or those who find it difficult to stay overnight due to childcare or work.
Additionally, we offer Itoshiro schooling for those who wish.
As a reward after the course, bring the tattsuke you made and join us for a session to learn about the roots of the "Echizen Blouse" in Itoshiro.
