Making Clothes in Your Daily Life | Echizen Blouse Online Course (A. 2-Day Saturday Intensive Course)

You can choose either course to suit your lifestyle.
【A. Saturday 2-session Intensive Course】
【B. Weekday Daytime 3-week Gradual Course】(Please see this on a separate page)
Learn the wisdom and craftsmanship of Itoshiro in your daily life,
and for those who wish, attend the Itoshiro schooling.
This course has a two-layered structure, centered around a "complete online course"
for those who cannot attend in person, while also offering "Itoshiro Schooling"
for those who wish to learn the roots of the "Echizen Blouse" in Itoshiro and deepen their connections.
【Saturday 2-session Intensive Course】
— From Measuring to Completion, All at Home —
Over two Saturdays (July 4th & 11th), you will complete one Echizen Blouse.
This online course is for those who want to tackle it intensively.
The "Echizen Blouse" was created by redesigning the "Echizen Shirt,"
a workwear passed down in Itoshiro.
We will cover measuring, pattern drafting, cutting, and sewing in two days.

Even through the screen, we will carefully explain "why it's made that way" and "points where mistakes are easily made."
The Echizen Blouse is made by piecing together fabric like a patchwork. It looks beautiful even with sheer fabric.

This is also recommended for those who live far from Itoshiro,
or those who find it difficult to stay overnight due to childcare or work.
In addition, for those who wish, we offer Itoshiro Schooling.
As a reward after the course, bring your completed work and join us to learn about the roots of the "Echizen Blouse" in Itoshiro.

Regarding Sewing Skill Level
As a guideline,
・Able to sew straight lines by hand or machine
・Able to do "running stitch" and "hemming stitch" if hand-sewing
・Has experience making small items or clothes by machine or hand,
If you meet these criteria, you can participate.
The content is suited for those who want to move beyond self-taught methods,

"why this shape" and "why this sewing method."
Can I really learn effectively online?
On the day of the course, we will demonstrate the processes and explain the concepts while showing our hands.
What happens if I miss a session?
If you are unavoidably absent, we will send you a recording at a later date. We will make arrangements to follow up on the content for subsequent sessions.
Can I join mid-course?
Basically, we recommend starting from the beginning. The process is continuous, so joining mid-course may make it difficult to understand.
