In this online course, we will thoroughly teach you everything from taking measurements and drafting dimensions to sewing.

It is a course with a two-tier structure.

From measurements to completion, all from the comfort of your home
Over two Saturdays (7/4, 11), you will make one Echizen blouse.
For those who want to focus and work seriously, this is an online course.
Redesigning the "Echizen Shirt," traditional workwear passed down in Itoshiro
The “Echizen Blouse” we created.
We will teach you everything from measuring, pattern drafting, cutting, and sewing over two days.

Even through a screen, even down to "why it's made that way" and "the points where mistakes are easy to make"
I will explain it politely.
The Echizen blouse is made by piecing together fabric like patchwork. Even sheer fabric turns out beautifully.



For those who live far away and can't come to Itoshiro,
It is also recommended for those who find it difficult to stay overnight due to parenting or work.
Also, for those who wish, we offer Itoshiro schooling.
As a reward for finishing the course, bring along the tatsuke you made,

You can participate with either hand sewing or a sewing machine, but

For widths of 110cm or more: length approximately 150cm
(As this varies depending on body type, we will confirm in advance via a questionnaire.)
If you wish, please purchase our fabric (shirt fabric). It requires very little prep work and is easy to sew. Also, if you choose the hand-sewing kit {fabric, hand-sewing thread, elastic waistband, cord}, you won't need much time for advance preparation.

Prepare in advance
- Please pre-wash the fabric. Soak it in water, spin it lightly, and hang it to dry.

Use a pressing cloth and iron on low heat.
If you want to do regular care in the washing machine,
Place it in a laundry bag and wash on a gentle cycle.
It will shrink, but it's better to pre-shrink it before sewing.
You won't have to worry about shrinkage later on. - I’ll smooth out the wrinkles with an iron.

About Sewing Skill Level
As a guideline,
・Straight stitching can be done by hand or with a sewing machine
- For hand sewing, you can do "running stitch" and "blind stitch"
• Have made accessories or clothing using a sewing machine or by hand,

Not just following the steps to make it according to the pattern,
For the course, we’ll explain as we go why it has this shape and why it’s sewn this way,
Recommended for those who want to take their self-taught skills to the next level.
Can I learn properly online as well?
On the day, I will explain the process and my approach while showing my hands at work.
If I’m absent, what happens?
If you are unavoidably unable to attend, we will send you a recording at a later date. We will make arrangements so you can keep up with the content in future sessions.
Can I join partway through?
Basically, we recommend joining from the beginning. Since the steps are connected, it may be difficult to understand if you join partway through.
