We are always searching for the best fabric for "Tatsuke". Since Tatsuke is for everyday use and hard use, we were looking for a durable fabric. That's when we came across this fabric.

Sashiko weaving is now also used for judo uniforms and kendo uniforms, and is also used by firefighters as fire-resistant clothing (although in these cases it is not 100% cotton).

Sashiko weaving is thick and durable, fits comfortably to the body, and is perfect for tatami mats. It has become a popular staple item. It is a traditional Japanese fabric and is loved by many people. It is a hard-to-find fabric, but we would like to continue making it.
