This shirt is an adaptation of the "Echizen Shirt," a local front-buttoned shirt. Although it's called a shirt, it's based on traditional Japanese clothing with straight-cut fabric, meaning no fabric is wasted. Like a kimono, it conforms to the wearer's body shape. Since it's a front-buttoned shirt, it can also be used as a light jacket for air-conditioned environments.
