This garment was created by adapting an old, sleeveless vest-style garment. The different construction of the right and left shoulders, designed to avoid wasting fabric, is a testament to the wisdom of our predecessors. For this item, we extended the length of the sleeveless vest to create a vest dress.

Warmth that alleviates the cold

It's very useful as an outer layer over shirts or dresses during cold weather. The length also pairs well with pants. The gentle color scheme makes it easy to coordinate with other outfits.

Warm and non-itchy

Made from thick wool, it's perfect for cold winters. It's woven from fine count yarn, making it a high-quality fabric that feels soft against the skin without being itchy. Since it's a soft and gentle fabric like cashmere, it can be worn even by those who typically dislike wool.

Natural-colored sheep

This brown is the natural color of sheep's wool. The fabric was developed using the wool of "Black Merino" sheep, a rare breed with a small population worldwide. Its natural color makes it versatile and easy to pair with anything, giving it a gentle feel.

■Production Story

Warm clothing is essential in the cold region of Itoshiro. It was under these conditions that this Black Merino was developed. Committed to natural, undyed colors, we explored whether this could be achieved with wool, conducting experiments with botanical dyes. However, we then discovered that there are actually sheep in the world that naturally have colored wool, and we fell in love with the charm of their colors. These sheep, however, are rare globally with small numbers. Our small brand's ability to produce small lots made this possible. We are creating high-quality original fabrics with a long-established spinning mill in Osaka.
