July 20th "The Flame Continues" Directed by Nobuo Onishi
Film Screening + Director's Talk Event!
"Traditional crafts" that have been passed down for generations still remain in various parts of Japan.
These beautiful works are all created by the hands of "artisans." We will be holding a screening of Director Onishi's film "The Flame Continues," which spotlights traditional crafts and artisans. He visited sites himself, closely covered the lives and work of artisans, and conducted direct interviews.

This film focuses on "Japanese candles" and follows the artisans involved in creating a single Japanese candle. This will be a special event, not only featuring the film screening but also with Director Onishi in attendance!
After the film screening, there will be a talk by the director and a sale of his books.
We will also guide you through the Itoshiro Yohinten shop and gallery, so please stop by if you have time. Additionally, we are planning an evening gathering with the director, so please join us for that as well. This is a time to share your thoughts and feelings about the film with others.
