The large armholes of the kimono sleeves allow for excellent ventilation.

Each Piece is Indigo-Dyed

At Itoshiro Clothiers, we practice traditional Japanese indigo dyeing using only natural materials (sukumo, lye, shell ash, wheat bran).

Dyeing takes place from May to the end of September. We dye at a relaxed pace, following nature's rhythm. After dyeing, the pieces are left to rest for over half a year to allow the color to settle.

This year's release consists of garments dyed in 2024.
