[Echizen Shirt] Linen/Himezione Yellow

Straight-cut, front-button shirt

This shirt is an adaptation of the "Echizen Shirt" passed down in this region. Although it's called a shirt, it's based on traditional Japanese clothing with a straight cut.


It's designed to not waste any fabric. Like a kimono, it adapts to the unique body shape of each wearer without constriction.


With dropped shoulder lines, like a kimono, it allows for freedom of movement around the shoulders and is not restrictive.

You can wear it comfortably for work to create a tidy impression, or for relaxing on your days off. As a front-button shirt, it also works well as a light cover-up to protect against air conditioning.

Gentle color dyed with Himejion (Philadelphia Fleabane)

This item is dyed with himejion that we gathered in Itoshiro.


Himejion, which grows wild in the fields in early spring, dyes a soft, gentle yellow.

Each item is carefully dyed at our botanical dye studio in Itoshiro. We hope you will enjoy incorporating the beauty of seasonal plants into your daily life.
