This dress was inspired by the Echizen shirt, originally a work garment for men, and has been arranged to be stylish and wearable. We focused on the material, length, and color to create an elegant piece that can be worn on special occasions.

While retaining the soft texture of organic cotton, it is woven with high density, giving it an elegant sheen and creating a sophisticated atmosphere.

With its generous width, this dress offers a completely unrestrictive fit. It's perfect for those with broader shoulders, chests, or hips, allowing for comfortable wear.

Furthermore, the shoulder position is not fixed, and small triangular gussets at the armpits allow for free and easy arm movement.

The silhouette also falls straight down to the hem, preventing it from flaring out and allowing for a sophisticated, mature look.

Botanical Dye Bi-Color with Gentle Hues

This time, we've created a piece combining two colors dyed with botanical dyes.

This year's new colors are Loquat Pink & Cherry Gray, and Fleabane Yellow & Cedar Khaki. Both are natural and gentle colors, yet they have a unique character.

Soft and gentle Loquat Pink

The loquat leaves are used for dyeing.

The gentle and soft impression further enhances femininity. Perhaps the reason your body feels happy when wearing it is because loquat leaves were once used as medicinal herbs.

Cherry blossoms are only dyed in years when there's heavy snowfall that breaks branches. We collect cherry branches from the villagers and dye them gray with iron mordant.

It's a gray with a hint of cherry blossom pink underneath, so it pairs well with the loquat color, creating a harmonious finish.

■Care Instructions

• Turn the garment inside out and place it in a large laundry net.
• Place it in the washing machine with ample space and wash on a gentle cycle.
• Use a neutral detergent, or if it's not very dirty, water alone is sufficient.
• After washing, gently spread it out and hang it to dry in the shade, still inside out.
• Indigo and botanical dyes are sensitive to light, so store them in a dark closet or drawer to prevent fading.
• When storing for the off-season, it's a good idea to include moth repellent.

• For fading, we offer re-dyeing. You can also change from botanical dye to indigo dye. Please contact us for details.
