Inspired by Echizen shirts, originally men's workwear, we envisioned and arranged them into a stylish dress. We paid close attention to the material, length, and color to create an elegant garment suitable for special occasions.

A soft, flowing, silk-like feel

The most captivating feature is the carefully selected satin fabric. Every customer who has tried it on has exclaimed, "It feels amazing!"

While retaining the soft texture of organic cotton, its high density weaving gives it an elegant sheen, exuding a refined atmosphere.

Generous width, relaxed comfort

The generous width provides a completely unrestrictive and comfortable fit. This garment is perfect for those with fuller shoulders, bust, or hips.

Also, the shoulder position is not fixed, and there is a small triangular gusset at the armpit, allowing for freedom of arm movement.

The silhouette also falls straight down to the hem, creating a sophisticated look without flaring out.

As a dress or a light jacket

As a one-piece dress, it’s easy to style for outings or work. Cinch it at your preferred position with the included waist belt for a more formal look.

It also serves as a versatile outer layer. It's perfect for slightly chilly days in early spring or from autumn to winter.

Gentle plant-dyed colors

Available in four colors: indigo blue, marigold khaki, loquat pink, and marigold yellow. This year, we also offer a bicolor option.

The indigo blue is repeatedly dyed to achieve a deep hue. The khaki is a chic color created by combining marigold flowers with iron components. The pink is extracted from loquat leaves. The yellow comes in different shades from fleabane and marigolds respectively.

Sophisticated and chic khaki

We cultivate marigolds in our fields, then pick and dye the flowers.

This khaki is created by iron mordanting, which adds iron to dull and calm the vibrant yellow of the marigold. The addition of iron to the beautiful marigold yellow creates this khaki shade.
It's a chic and mature color, suitable for work or outings, and also has an elegant feel for formal occasions.

Care and repair

To ensure your garment lasts for a long time, here are some care instructions and details about our repair service.

■Care Instructions

• Turn the garment inside out and place it in a large laundry net.
• Place it in the washing machine with ample space and wash on a delicate cycle.
• Use a neutral detergent, or if it's not very dirty, water alone is sufficient.
• After washing, gently spread it out and hang it inside out to dry in the shade.
• Indigo and plant dyes are sensitive to light, so store them in a dark closet or drawer to prevent fading.
• When storing for off-season, using mothballs is recommended.

■Repairs

• For color fading, we offer redyeing services. It's also possible to change from a plant dye to an indigo dye. Please contact us for details.
• We also offer patching and mending services for fraying, so please feel free to inquire.
