Inspired by Echizen shirts, originally worn as workwear by men, we've reimagined them into a stylish dress. We focused on the material, length, and color to create an elegant piece that can be worn even on special occasions.

Generous width, relaxed fit

The generous width ensures a comfortable fit with no sense of restriction. It's a garment that can be worn with ease by those with broader shoulders, chests, or hips.

In addition, the unfixed shoulder position and small triangular gussets at the armholes provide freedom of movement for the arms.

The silhouette also features a straight-falling hem, allowing for an adult look without the hem spreading out.

As a dress or a light jacket

As a single-piece dress, it’s easy to style for outings or work. Cinching it at your preferred position with the included waist belt makes it more formal.

It also comes in handy as a light jacket. It's perfect for slightly chilly days in early spring, autumn, and winter.

The deep hues of natural indigo dye

The indigo color is achieved through repeated dyeing to achieve a deep hue. Khaki is a chic color created by combining marigold flowers with iron components. Pink is extracted from loquat leaves. Yellow is made from fleabane and marigold, each producing a different shade.

The deeply dyed indigo color

Care and Repair

We want you to enjoy your garment for a long time, so here are some care instructions and information about our repair service.

■Care Instructions

• Turn the garment inside out and place it in a large laundry net.
• Wash it in the washing machine with plenty of space and on a gentle cycle.
• Use a neutral detergent, or if it's not heavily soiled, water alone is sufficient.
• After washing, gently spread it out and hang it to dry in the shade, still inside out.
• Indigo dyes and botanical dyes are sensitive to light, so when storing, place them in a dark closet or drawer to prevent fading.
• When storing for the off-season, it's a good idea to add moth repellent.

■Repairs

• For fading, we offer re-dyeing. You can also change from botanical dyeing to indigo dyeing. Please contact us for details.
