Linen Front-Button Dress

This dress is an adaptation of the "Echizen Shirt," a front-button shirt traditional to this region. Although it's a dress, it's based on Japanese clothing and uses straight-line cutting.

It is designed to minimize fabric waste. Like a kimono, it creates a soft, relaxed silhouette that adapts to the wearer's body.

Gentle colors dyed with loquat leaves

We use loquat leaves provided by locals for dyeing.

The leaves are harvested in winter, stored, finely cut, and used for dyeing. It's a delightful dyeing process with surprising results, as these green leaves produce such beautiful reddish hues.

Each piece is carefully dyed at the Itoshiro natural dye studio. We hope you can incorporate the beauty of seasonal plants into your daily life.

This fabric is 100% linen, perfect for spring and summer.

It has a crisp feel but also softness, making it a versatile linen fabric suitable for both outings and relaxed wear.

歳をとって麻より綿がよくなっていたのに、思いがけず清々しい麻に出会い、試着システム助かりましたがお値段も相当ですので逡巡して逡巡しました。手触りが何とも吸いつくような感触です。
実は身体を壊して４年深刻に過ごし薬も医療代も無駄とはっきりして、寝具と衣類には少し贅沢を許そうとしたところでした。で、先日腑に落ちました。「薬は服用するという」という記事で。お茶が好きで手仕事道具にも並々ならぬ心血を？注いでしまう性分でかねて、お茶は何故“一服“なのかと思い乍らこの歳まで。私に大事なことだったんだなあ、と。頭痛薬以外“内服薬“は体が受け付けないし、着心地の悪いのはどうしても着られない。
昔は「神経質」で片付けられたのが今やっと繊細、感覚鋭敏、少しは理解されるようになりました。そんな体質に、軽くて肌触り気持ちよく、癒されるという感じです。
私は体力がないので農業まではいかず、土いじり程度愉しんでいます。落ち葉も籾殻もとぎ汁も茶殻野菜屑も、宝物のようですよね！
長くなり失礼しました、衣服は肩、幅、丈、私にはちょうどいいです、また麗しい色のお品ができるのかなと楽しみにしています。
