Soft, Lightweight Domestic Linen

A lightweight fabric made from 100% domestic linen.

It is incredibly soft and gently envelops the body. Though lightweight, it has a pleasant crispness, making it a high-quality and elegant material.

As a light outer layer from spring to autumn

This can be used as a light outer layer during chilly seasons, or as protection against air conditioning in mid-summer. Its lightweight nature makes it easy to take off and store in a bag, making it convenient to carry.

Available in 2 colors: Ecru and Indigo-dyed

Available in two colors: the natural color of undyed linen and an indigo-dyed blue. The ecru is a versatile greige that pairs well with anything, allowing for a wide range of coordination.


The indigo is a deep, hand-dyed color from Itoshiro. The wonder of indigo emerging from green leaves.

Can be worn as a dress with the waist tie

It can also be worn as a dress with the included belt. Since it's sheer, enjoy coordinating it with leggings or pants.

■Production Story

This garment was created based on a piece borrowed from Risako, who is now in her 90s. Its distinctive feature is the sleeve, called "mojiri-sode," which is made by folding and sewing together a rectangular piece of fabric.

I still remember the shock I felt the first time I saw this sleeve in person. I realized that a triangular sleeve shape could be created from just one piece of fabric, and that this sleeve had the same structure as those found in Ainu traditional garments.

Since Itoshiro has been a settlement since the Jomon period, there might be some connection. This design was created while pondering the romance of a long history.
