Gently warms your wrists
Merino wool arm warmers

We have created arm warmers that will keep you comfortable during the winter in Itoshiro, a region with heavy snowfall.

Great for outdoors and even indoors

It's very warm and recommended for when your hands feel cold. It's useful not only outdoors but also at home. It's also useful when using a computer or smartphone, or when driving a car.

Gently wraps around your wrist

On cold days, it's good to warm up the areas around your neck. One of those areas is your wrists. Don't you find your wrists cold when wearing gloves? Arm warmers are long enough to reach just before your elbows, so they will wrap your wrists in a soft, warm embrace.

The hem is ribbed so it stays in place while you wear it, making it comfortable.

The fingertips are curled so they are gentle on the skin.
Also, since it does not constrict, there is no stress when moving your fingers.

Black Merino wool is gentle and non-itchy

For the yarn, we chose rare "black merino" raw wool, which is only produced in a few tons per year in the Australian states of Victoria and Tasmania.

Its characteristics are that the fibers are fine, soft and fluffy like cashmere. It is not itchy, so it is recommended for people with sensitive skin or those who do not like wool.

Natural color that goes well with any outfit

Available in three colors: white, which can be used as an accent color; gray, which goes well with any outfit; and brown, which matches earth tones. Choose your favorite color to match your coat.

We also make sweaters and knitted hats using the same wool yarn, so please take a look at those as well.

Development Story

Warm items are essential in the cold Itoshiro area. That's why we developed this Black Merino. We're particular about natural colors, not chemicals, and we've been testing vegetable dyes and other methods to see if we can achieve that with wool. But we discovered that there are already colored sheep out there!

No dyeing is required, so I immediately went to various weavers to find the most eco-friendly way to make the fabric. The knitter is one of the leading knitters in Japan, handling high quality wool . A long-established weaver in Osaka , they have highly skilled techniques and produce high-quality materials that are on par with cashmere.

This colored sheep fabric was made possible because we have a small number of sheep and we are a small brand, so we can only produce small lots.
