We've created a thick wool knit cap that will keep you comfortable even in the snowy winters of Itoshiro.It's knitted using the warmest, highest-quality merino wool.

It's incredibly warm, allowing you to stay comfortable even in the coldest winters. It gently envelops your head and protects you from the cold.It features a simple ribbed knit that's easy to coordinate with any outfit.

Highest Quality Merino Wool

This knit hat is developed using rare "Black Merino" wool, produced only a few tons per year, exclusively in Tasmania, Australia.

It is characterized by its fine, soft fibers and voluminous feel. It is as soft as cashmere, and due to its delicate yarn, it is also recommended for those who are sensitive to wool.

It's non-itchy and gently embraces even sensitive skin. This is an essential item for the cold winter.

■ Production Story

In cold Itoshiro, warm items are essential. That's why we developed this Black Merino. As proponents of natural, undyed colors, we experimented with plant dyeing and other methods to achieve this with wool. However, we then learned that there are sheep in the world that are already naturally colored!

This is the most eco-friendly situation, as no dyeing is needed. We immediately contacted various weaving mills and found a knitter who handles some of the highest quality wool in Japan. This long-established weaving mill in Osaka has excellent technical capabilities and created a high-quality material on par with cashmere.

Because the number of sheep is small, and our small brand has low production lots, we were able to create this colored sheep fabric.
