"The Itoshiro village, with a history spanning from the Jomon period, is located across mountains and mountains, on the border between Gifu and Fukui prefectures. The author, Kaori Hirano, moved to this place and is the owner of "Itoshiro Apparel Store," which revives ancient traditional working clothes with a modern sensibility. She creates clothing using straight-cut patterns and fabrics dyed with indigo and local plants that they cultivate themselves. This is the story of a woman's entrepreneurship who fell in love with the life and people of Itoshiro, inherited traditions, created beautiful clothes, and lives a vibrant and fulfilling life."

I was energized by the resilient spirit of Kaori-san, who made up her mind, envisioned her path, and, at times, expressed her struggles, yet steadily moved forward. ──Mayu Tsuruta, Actress (Recommendation) |
