[Sleeveless long] Wool (black merino) / gray

Long vest/ vest coat

I made this by adapting an old vest-style garment without sleeves. The right and left shoulders are made differently to avoid wasting fabric, which shows the wisdom of our ancestors. This time, I extended the length of the sleeveless vest dress.

Warmth to ease the cold

It's great to wear over a shirt or dress during the cold season. The length goes well with pants. The gentle color makes it easy to coordinate.

Warm and non-itchy

This thick wool is perfect for cold winters. It is made of the finest fabric, woven with fine yarn, so it gently wraps around your skin without any irritation. It is a soft and gentle fabric like cashmere, so it can be used even by those who do not like wool.

Natural color sheep

This brown is the natural color of sheep's wool. This fabric was developed using the wool of the "Black Merino," a rare breed of sheep that is rare in the world. Because it is a natural color, it has a gentle atmosphere that goes well with anything.

■ Production Story

Warm clothes are essential in the cold Itoshiro area. That's when we developed this Black Merino. We're particular about using natural colors, not chemical dyes, and we've been testing vegetable dyes and other methods to see if we can achieve that with wool. But then we found out that there are actually sheep out there that are already colored! And we fell in love with the cuteness of the color. But those sheep are rare, with only a small number of them in the world. We were able to make it because we're a small brand and produce small lots. We create our own high-quality fabric together with a long-established spinning factory in Osaka.
