The popular Echizen shirt has been tailored with fabric from Shinnosuke Jofu, a weaving company in Shiga. The black crepe fabric was a big hit at the order events held in 2023 and 2024.

Limited time and limited quantity

This is the last production of this fabric. We will accept orders by July 15th, and production will be limited. If you are interested, please make a reservation.

Completion and shipping is scheduled for the end of the year (December 2024). Please be aware that it will take some time.

Hemp weaving is a traditional industry in Shiga Prefecture. It is full of wisdom to overcome the hot and humid Japanese summer, allowing you to stay cool even in the middle of summer.

The secret is that it is made of "shrink-resistant fabric." In addition to being made of linen, the fact that it is shrink-resistant means it stays away from the skin, allowing it to breathe well in the summer without feeling sticky.

This shirt is an adaptation of the Echizen shirt, a button-front shirt that is a traditional local item.
