It takes many years to make a single piece of clothing

Our indigo dyeing is
Year 1: Grow the leaves and make sukumo
Second year: Let the sukumo sit
Third year: Prepare indigo and dye with indigo
Year 4: Letting the fabric sit
5th year, finally released

So, if we think about the leaves, it takes five years to complete. It takes a long time... So, we will send off the indigo-dyed clothes to those who are destined to wear them, as if we were sending off our own children.

The span of economic activity in modern society is likely to be much shorter, and taking five years to make one piece of clothing is something that is unheard of in this day and age, but we cannot use any chemicals to speed up the dyeing process, and indigo dyeing, which is born from the earth and can be returned to the earth, can only be done over time.

The color that is created in this way is the indigo hue that draws us in, and it seems to have a variety of effects, so I think it is loved and used not only for its attractive color but also as a beautiful utility.
