"Folk Clothing that Opens the Future - What I Learned from Shibusawa Folklore"

This year, the main store opened at the end of April.

At the same time, the Stable Gallery next door was also opened.

The theme of the project is "Folk Clothing that Opens the Future - What We Have Learned from Shibusawa Folklore Studies."

The exhibition features various materials about the common stance on folklore shared by Shibusawa Keizo, the successor to Shibusawa Eiichi, who will appear on the 10,000 yen bill in July this year, Miyamoto Tsuneichi, a folklorist whom Keizo supported, and Shibusawa Juichi, Eiichi's great-grandson and our mentor in oral history.

You can see the ideas and thoughts that influenced the clothing made at Ishiteshiro Clothing Store.

Please enjoy your visit along with our main store.

There will also be three gallery talks to explain the contents of the gallery.
The sessions are from 13:30 on May 19, July 21, and October 20. Please apply from the following page.
