Kamawanu Asakusa and Daikanyama stores will be holding workshops to make pants and shirts. The Kamawanu Asakusa store will host a workshop to make "Hakama" by hand-stitching, while the Daikanyama store will host a workshop to make "Echizen Shirts" using a sewing machine.

Echizen Shirt Indigo Dyeing and Tailoring Workshop by Itoshiro Yōhinten 【Overview】This workshop allows you to indigo dye and tailor an Echizen shirt, a traditional garment from Itoshiro, a remote area in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, to your liking. You can choose your preferred sewing method, such as machine sewing, hand sewing, or a combination of both. 【Schedule】 ・Indigo Dyeing: Any of June 15, June 18, or June 23 (You will generally dye it yourself, but you can also entrust it to Akanekko. Consultation required.) ・Sewing: June 25, July 2, July 9 1 PM to 5 PM This will be a three-week consecutive course. *The fabric used is 100% Belgian linen woven in Japan.
