Me & My Itoshiro Yohinten Vol.8 -Arisa Kishigami-

We will be asking customers who regularly purchase clothes from Ishiteshiro Clothing Store to tell us about their favorite items and their own activities.
Name: Arisa Kishigami
My favorite item: Hakama/light blue
Length of use: 3 years
Height: 162cm

---Please introduce yourself and tell us about your work and activities:

We want to continue to exist in a society (world) that we would like to live in. We have been involved in various activities with the aim of creating a virtuous cycle of business activities aimed at realizing this and the funds that support them.
These days, we are hearing terms like "ESG investment" and "sustainable finance" more and more often, but to me, these terms refer to the existence of a system in which consideration of the environment and people involved in management and capital flows is taken for granted.
We also place great importance on slow activities through music as a way to connect with the hearts of each individual on a daily basis, something that cannot be immediately grasped through such a system.

---Please tell us about your favorite items. When, where and where do you usually wear them?

The item I use is a light blue hakama with a ribbon around the waist. To be honest, I tend to wear straight pants. However, these are very loose fitting and comfortable to wear even on hot midsummer days without sticking to my skin. I use them mainly during my off time, such as for walks around the neighborhood or for everyday shopping.
Hakama Collection
*The light blue hakama worn by Kishigami Arisa is currently sold out, but we have many other hakama available, so please take a look.

---How did you find out about Ishiteshiro Clothing Store?

I was a classmate of Kaori Hirano, the founder of Itoshiro Clothing Store, in my university days. Even back then, he valued learning and passing on the wisdom and culture rooted in the local area, and even after graduating, I continued to support the activities of Itoshiro Clothing Store, which make use of those values.

--- A message to Ishiteshiro Clothing Store:
The clothes created by Itoshiro Clothing Store exude a natural kindness and a sense of story.
The process of making a single garment involves many different plants, animals, and human hands, and this natural way reminds us of the importance of that.
We look forward to supporting many people as they slowly find their favorite piece.
