3/12-13 Itoshiro Clothing Store Exhibition | Yamawarau, "Tatsuke" (Tokyo, Ginza)

Itoshiro is a mountain village located on the border between Gifu and Fukui prefectures.
The traditional Japanese trousers called "tatsuke" that have been passed down and made here have been worn as work clothes to survive, such as when doing rice planting or mountain work that begins in the early spring.
At our shop, we redesign and reissue clothes that are made up entirely of straight lines, such as "tatsuke", for a modern look. These clothes are the true essence of Japanese clothing, with no wasted fabric and ease of movement.
This time, we will be exhibiting and selling clothes that you will want to wear in spring and summer, including linen, organic cotton, and indigo dyed items.
