The year 2025 is finally coming to a close. How is everyone spending their year-end?

This year has truly been eventful, marking a significant year for Itoshiro Apparel.

From April, we welcomed two new members, further strengthening our team!

Starting in early spring, construction began on the inn "Sukeshichi," and preparations for the opening of KIITOS. Then, in September, the publication of "The Story of Itoshiro Apparel,"

While we are still in the trial-and-error phase with our unprecedented "inn business," I can't help but be excited about the prospect of providing Itoshiro-style food, starting from growing vegetables in our own fields.

In addition, this year we increased the number of craftsmanship workshops, making it a year where Itoshiro Apparel, as an apparel brand, challenged itself to expand its "learning opportunities."

With our new reliable members, indigo dyeing also progressed smoothly.

About 40 "Tatatsuke Workshop Certified Instructors" have emerged nationwide to spread "Tatsuke" together, and I truly feel grateful to have an increasing number of like-minded colleagues, allowing me to spend my days feeling supported, joyful, and enriched.

At the exhibition in Tokyo, thanks to the members of the Tokyo team, our business partners, the exhibition venue staff, and many other supporters, we were able to attract interest in craftsmanship from this small village deep in the mountains, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

Thirteen years have passed since Itoshiro Apparel began. We are now entering our fourteenth year.

During these years, so many things have happened that it's hard to tell what we've accomplished and what we haven't.

But one thing is certain: we are currently living in a very blessed environment, continually encountering wonderful people and connections.

Our mission remains unchanged: to carry on Japan's traditional clothing in the land of Itoshiro and share it with the world. We will continue to live happily here and do everything we can.

What kind of year will 2026 be?

We want to nurture the inn that opened this year, and just as children grow, we want to expand our capabilities and deepen our understanding of each endeavor.
