<Introduction of the contents>
・Gallery exhibition at Itoshiro Clothing Store (during the period):
2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Ishiteshiro Clothing Store. To commemorate this, we will be exhibiting the gallery exhibition that was held at our main store from May to October this year at Lake Scuola. We will also be exhibiting valuable materials that are usually difficult to get your hands on, such as old photographs of the area, fabrics, and clothing that was used more than 100 years ago.
・Talk event on community development initiatives and clothing production (11/3, reservations required):
Itoshiro is a small mountain village. We will talk about the small-scale hydroelectric power generation project that we have been carrying out here for about 15 years, as well as the promotion of relocation. We will talk about the land where we live, as well as about clothing production.
*Akihide Hirano, who is involved in community development, and Kaori Hirano, the store owner, will be speaking.
・One-day "TATSUKE" workshop held (11/21):
This is a workshop where you can complete our main product, "tatsuke" with a sewing machine in one day. To be honest, it's a bit hard, but we've condensed what we usually do in Itoshiro over two nights and three days and aim to complete it in one day. Making tatsuke involves assembling like a puzzle by cutting and sewing in straight lines only, and I think it's more exciting for experienced people!
・Autumn/Winter lineup on display and for sale (during the period):
Itoshiro is a very cold region. We will deliver warm clothes that can only be made by those of us who live here. We will bring soft, high-quality woolen clothes, so we hope you will try them out.
