The year 2023 has arrived.
How is everyone spending the New Year?

We had a quiet, calm, and white New Year's in Itoshiro. I'm planning to go to Hakusan Nakai Shrine for the first visit of the year and offer my New Year's greetings to the local deity.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of Ishiteshiro Clothing Store.

I'm excited to see what's going to happen this year. Every year there are many new things, but some things remain the same. In spite of all that, one thing I want to continue doing is making clothes that have a traditional feel to this land, and dyeing them with indigo and natural dyes.

As someone who lives and creates things here, it brings me great joy to be able to do things that can only be done here and that are possible because of this place.

Connecting with the history of the land, connecting with the nature of the land. I want to interact with the whole Itoshiro region in the same way that I communicate with my neighbors in my daily life.

From there, we would like to create something that is unique to Ishiteshiro Clothing Store, and have people wear the atmosphere of this place in their clothes.

So I'm excited about the new year once again.
