10/23-24 Exhibition at Naka Architectural Design Studio (Meguro, Tokyo)

We will be holding the exhibition in the design office of architects Toshiharu Naka and Yuri Uno, who have been fans of "Tatsuke" since the founding of Itoshiro Clothing Store in 2012.

Because we have built buildings in various regions that consider coexistence with the environment, our design office is a pleasant space with plenty of light and air. This time, we will hold a two-day exhibition by appointment only, so that people living in the city center can have a look at our autumn and winter items.

We have clothes that are warm and comfortable, suitable for your stay, such as indigo-dyed clothes dyed in Itoshiro and knitwear in natural colors that use the natural colors of sheep. We operate by reservation only, so you can take your time trying on clothes, so please come and visit us.

At Itoshiro Yohinten, we create clothing using traditional methods that have been passed down for generations by the people of Itoshiro, a mountain hamlet in the north of Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Our designs are based on the traditional “tatsuke” work plants, which are cleverly patterned so as to make use of an entire piece of fabric, leaving little or no waste. The fabric is woven of natural materials such as organic cotton or linen, and dyed with natural indigo and other locally sourced plants.

We welcome you to join us for our Fall/Winter Collection Pop Up at Naka architectural studio!
