His other works focus on themes of 'basic human needs' (food, clothing, shelter), including subjects like long-term psychiatric hospital patients, the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, disability support facilities, and master craftspeople.\u003cbr\u003eHe has also produced numerous other documentary films.\u003cbr\u003eHe received the Japan Photographic Association Award in 2025.
