The author, Kaori Hirano, moved to this place and is the owner of \"Itoshiro Apparel Store,\" which revives ancient traditional working clothes with a modern sensibility. She creates clothing using straight-cut patterns and fabrics dyed with indigo and local plants that they cultivate themselves.
